Summer Wrap-Up

Next week kids here go back to school and summer life is pretty much over. My kids will be starting a Mom’s Day Out program one day a week-Fridays. I’m a little nervous since this will be this first venture into that kind of thing. Ava starts her dance class back again and this year she’ll be doing an additional 45 min. of tumbling. It’s right after her regular dance, which includes tap now, so she’ll be in class for 1 and a half hours on Tuesday. Should be interesting. I’ll let you know how it goes.

Over at I♥ faces, they’re doing a summer in photos addition this week. I thought it would be a great way to share basically what we’ve been up to this summer. Enjoy!

Our summer started with two trips to Disney in three weeks! We did 0ur family vacation, and the next week we were back Ash came home and told us he had a business trip and it was on the grounds of the Disney Resorts! Off we went!

Kinda’ looks like Ava has Binh in a strangle hold. Is this what one means by “love you to death”?

There was lots of playing with the sand and water table that Binh got for his birthday in April. There is sand in a thin layer all over my kitchen floor now days.  I pretty much hate sand now. You know those dreams of living on the beach? They’re now my worst nightmare..

I took a trip to Japan for about 10 days. Here’s a view from Tokyo Tower at night..

While I had the good camera in Japan, Ash had the old one here for Ava’s first dance recital.

We spent some family time at the beach in Destin (more sand!) .

Then, would it really be summer without at least one baseball game?

Ava turned three this summer, and as always, was a princess.

Mostly though, our summer was about getting to be together, hang out, and enjoy each other.
