Ava is a Rock Star!

I only have a few minutes, so forgive grammatical errors and misspellings.

First, tomorrow is the big day. We leave for the 2.5 hour drive to the orphanage at 7:30am. We will meet Binh, have lunch, and do the g-n-r ceremony. Then, the WHOLE family will come on “home”, home being the hotel. We are excited, but I have a tremendous sense of peace. I really don’t feel all crazy or anything. We’ll see how I do on the car ride there!

We went to the zoo today here in Ho Chi Minh City. Let me tell you, Ava is a huge hit here in Vietnam. Men and women smile and try to talk to her, hold her hand, pat her face, etc. She has taken it all in stride and smiles and talks to them. She had a great time at the zoo. I think her favorite was the tiger. It makes sense when you think about her love of kitties, anyway. She has been so amazing on this trip. I thank God for such a sweet, loving little girl. We told her about her brother coming home tomorrow. I don’t know how much she gets, but it’s probably more than we think, knowing Ava.

We don’t have the right converter right now, so I can’t post pictures of her feeding the elephant at the zoo (don’t see that every day.) We will get the right one so we can put up pics of tomorrow, too.

Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers. Please keep it up!
