Binh’s Party

I’m just getting around to posting about Binh’s birthday party. We had a good time, and the kids really had a blast with their friends. We just had a gathering here at the house, but it was enough for a two year old. Ash’s family was in town for the event so some of them helped with the preparations which made things go a lot more smoothly for me. We had lots of fruits and veggies to eat, and I picked up a party platter of chicken nuggets from Chik-fil-A. Who doesn’t love Chik-fil-A, anyway? So there was plenty to munch on besides cake. Speaking of cake, our neighbors made Binh’s birthday cake. Actually, the husband made the cake. He’s quite the baker, too, because I don’t even like cake and I wanted seconds of this stuff!

 

Didn’t he do a great job? It looked really cute, but tasted even better. I told him if it didn’t work  out for him in his current job, he could always be on “Ace of Cakes”.

Binh has never had anyone sing “Happy Birthday” to him (I don’t think he remembered my rendition from last year), so I think he thought we were all a little nuts.

Get a load of those cute lips blowing out the candle! Is it me, or is that entirely too adorable?

Lastly, I have to post this one because I think it’s funny. Here’s our friend’s daughter carrying around this tiny baby that she was busy taking care of all night. It’s a baby from Ava’s doll house. She was also strolling it and a bunch of doll house furniture in the doll stroller for much of the evening. 🙂
